Cool video.
Bob, the beloved Bob, you made life so much FUN for so many!!!!! 😊
Absolute worst voice
best voice
Indeed, saved my life today, energized , hope again, love this
3:54 oof
Something just ain't right..... Real Eyes Realize Real Lies
This entire segment makes me want to vomit and Dave agrees. I'll just leave it at that.
@@firstinlastout1137why vomit
Lived in Phoenix at the time, but wife and I after seeing them there decided to travel to SF for a long weekend and see them at the amphitheater there so were at that show. Great memories
I hate it when people insist on wearing sunglasses during interviews
Cliffhanger loss 27:14
Bob Barker 1923-2023.
R.I.P Bob Barker.
They're the best, so much talent of so many sounds twisting out just perfectly
I've seen em 3 times.. seen Aerosmith, Clapton, chili peppers, and tool! Nobody jams like they do PERIOD
Picture this: 10th grade Spanish class in 1995. Kid next to me hands over a cassette tape. He says it's a band his brother saw the previous weekend down near his college in Charlottesville. On the label were the letters DMB. I was blown away. Fast forward a bit and while watching MTV I see David from Roseanne in the video for Satellite. Have seen them many times since then. Always fantastic!
Best band in the world and I am glad I find this video ❤
The irony is meeting…meeting Glenn Ballard was the worst thing to ever happen to them. In my opinion, anyway.
I have loved all sorts of music over my life. My parents loved DMB and started it all for me. I think I know the words to every single Dave Matthews Band song.
The Diamondbacks lost the Series because he didn't throw out the first ball on Halloween.
Wow. This was an incredible find for me. I have had the pleasure of working for DMB for many years. I SO vividly remember seeing Charlie Rose backstage at Mtview and having maybe my only starstruck moment to date (despite working for many big stars for years to come). I was so shocked and excited to see CR. The total opposite of what most folks would likely experience. This is actually kind of funny now- so stiff, but he obviously would not have sought out this story if he wasn't a fan. Great memories for me! And DMB continues to make fans happy to this day!
They mispronounce half the bands names in the first 5 minutes.
Funny they open with Listener Supported. I’m proud to say I was at this show as well as 76 others. While 12/3/98 will forever be the best show I’ve ever attended, Listener Supported was without question the best produced show I’ve ever seen from DMB. Ironically my buddy and I had seats directly behind the stage about 24 rows up. At first I was a bit disappointed being behind the stage u til I remembered how much Dave turns around to Carter and other band mates. So it was a very unique perspective to say the least. Great show, excellent DVD. Go buy it if they still have them in 2023.
Dang this interview did not age well lol
What way?
@@RyanSheppard-tq4pgboyd
Best band ever. Finally saw them live last week after almost 3 decades of listening
So what are you trying to say? These black people have to be represented by a white man to get paid attention too?
@12:03 something so blessed - eerily cuts out
Boyd Tinsley yes!!
This gets better every time I watch it and the band sounds better and better. What energy from the band to the crowd and back. Love this band!!!
I’ve been to more than 100 concerts and I’ve seen DMB around 15 times. Their shows are the best because of their songs and arrangements.
Things to like about this video in no particular order: -recorded on a VHS tape -BT!!! -the magic of the turn of the century - Lilywhite sessions I love the trips down memory lane!😊
Great singer song writer one of the best ensembles and great musicians in their own right. Unique yet familiar sound grateful to have experienced a band like this in my lifetime. Rock on DMB.
Carter is the GOAT
in hindsight, Charlie Rose was horrible at reading already written words. it is painful to listen to.
FUUUK YEAAAAAH!!!
I've been listening to this band ever since I was born. almost 16 years Ive been obsessed with them.
I went to UVA and in the early days I hired Dave a few times to play at our various fraternity parties. Later Tim played a few gigs with him. They both are awesome…both as musicians and people.
I don't recognize any guitar chords DM does.
11:52 Um they aren't the Grateful Dead ... lol 😂
And what about the "Crash" record?! Surely that's their finest!
Boyd Tinsley and Charlie Rose…two pervert asswipes.
Would like to see him spread light on the genocide happening in South Africa.
I remember the days when you could only hear 2 step on those sketchy websites. DMB and Pearl Jam my favorite live bands to see hands down...
🤣
One of the few bands who sounds better live cuz they're the real thing
Way better live! There’s a reason they sell out every show at every place
The irony of forming in Charlottesville and what it’s now synonymous with. That’s why so many stood up against those N*zis diks.
I'm glad we got the gift of the Dave Matthews Band. It takes up a lot of my music time. Relatable and awakening content and something for any/every mood. Love me some DMB!
Nice video Josh! Class of ‘97 baby!
I remember being 13 in 2000 and my Dad recorded this special for me on a VHS so i could watch it in my room on my VCR. I have been in love with DMB since I was 12! So glad I have been so lucky to see them almost 40 times in the last 25 years
I used to tape all his TV appearances. Funny there was no way of knowing that soon we could broadly share them like this. Glad you found your way here
Cool Dad!!
Been following DMB since I was 10, it’s now 2023, I’m almost 35 and I can confidently say this band has saved my life time and time again. Grateful for the ride
One of my first CDs was Crash little did I know that was just the tip of the iceberg
I have been onboard the DMB bus ever since the very first EP Remember Two Things. In spite of the tragic death of LeRoi and the departure of Boyd it is beyond the shadow of a doubt that DMB has only aged like fine wine over the past three decades. **R.I.P. LEROI MOORE 🎷🕊 **
@@DrLuke49I just saw them last night. A lot of bands I've grown up with have shown their age in performances, but this band has taken great care of themselves. The 30 year old songs sound just as good as they did when they first came out.
@@AndyJay1985 there is no other group like DMB around to be sure 💯
Same same same
Leroy 😢
The VH1 driven documentary is also phenomenal
2023, and they’re about to release ANOTHER top seller. A Walk on The Moon will be their eighth straight album to hit number 1.
